Marianne will be sharing her personal experiences as one of the First Women Flight Controllers during STS-1 through 5.
I wonder at how Marianne fits all of her activities into one lifetime. In addition to her flight contoller position and the many hours spent as an NSS volunteer she is also an Award Winning Author.
During the show she may also discuss her history book, Space and Astronomy: Decade by Decade. Although most of her books are written for children this book is for adults. However, Marianne is quick to point out that it is also readable by middle and high school students.
