Minutes of November Meeting
Oklahoma Space Alliance met at Earl’s Rib Palace in Moore on November, 2016. Attending were Steve, Karen and Brian Swift, Russ Davoren, Don Robinson, Tim Scott, Linda Shannon, Dave Sheely, Rosemary Swift, Rachelle Thibodeau, Dennis Wigley and Syd Henderson. OSA President Steve Swift presided. Steve had been missing for sever meetings for chemotherapy and we welcomed his return.
We watched a video of Antares returning to flight.

We watched a video of Jeff Bezos explaining Blue Origin’s symbols.
We watch a video of a launch of China’s newest version of the Long March rocket.
We watched a video of the Pio XI glacier in Bernardo O’Higgins National Park in Chile.
We have $1006 in our bank account and $257 in our cash box.
November is the month we nominate officers for 2017. The only nominations we had were for the four officers we already had. Syd gives people until December 1 to nominate officers by e-mail, mail or phone. [We had no new nomination.]
The Christmas Party will begin at 5:00 p.m. on December 10 at Cliff and Claire McMurray’s. We will eat at 6:00 p.m.
Steve attended the OSIDA meeting.
OSIDA has a lease in work with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Bill Khourie presented a short update on commercial space.
The Air Force is flight-testing equipment at the Oklahoma Air and Spaceport.
`OSIDA hired a new facilities manager.
We watched two TEDx videos, “Why Space” and “Colonizing the Next Frontier,” and a humerous one, “Space Exploration is the Worst.”
