May 2003 - Space Day Event

Saturday, May 10, 10 am-4 pm

Cradle of Aviation Museum

In celebration of Space day at the Cradle of Aviation Museum, we, along with Rich Santer's middle school students, set up a number of displays in the entrance area of the museum, and helped out with some of the day's activities.

Unfortunately, the museum wasn't very busy the day we were there; apparently a number of other competing events kept the crowds away. Overall it was a fun day; we got to meet some of the local amateur astronomers too, which was interesting. And maybe we learned how to do this sort of thing better next time!
