NSS-NJ North Society for Space Education
Secretary/Treasurer
Terry Gulino works in New Jersey with second grade
children who think that she is “Just the Best.” When the opportunity arises
she brings in Space posters and memorabilia to show and display in the
classroom. One of the event posters that made the
biggest hit with the children was a picture of PeeWee in his space suite
(taken by NASA representatives) at the National Space Society 2005 ISDC held
in Washington, DC. He is now the children’s official space mascot..see
picture below. For 22 years she worked for
Verizon as a Property Manager in and around the World Trade Center. As a
property manager she was responsible for a staff of thirty-five employees. From July 2003 to August 2005 she
held the position of Treasurer for the New York Chapter of the National Space
Society. She is presently the Secretary/Treasurer of NSS-NJN Society for
Space Education.
Her interest in space began when
Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the Moon in July of 1969. Since then
she has been an ardent Space Enthusiasts. In the picture to the left, Terry
is seen standing in front of a space badge wall display in the Space Museum
of NSS-NJN Vice President Joe Lennox.
