We hoped you had a wonderful time. We raised a total $2300 for HATS-STEDTRAIN
(provides science and technology education & training seed grants to northern Alabama and southern Tennessee area K-12 schools and organizations).

Welcome to the Rocket City 's first Yuri's Night Party, an opportunity
to celebrate the first human being in space, Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin.
Think of this as a St. Patrick's Day or Cinco de Mayo for space. Be a
part of the worldwide celebration!
The evening will feature live music (Boogafunk), space-themed door prizes,
special guests (including members of the
Dixie Derby Girl's), and the debut of the "Yuritini," a special concoction
LeeAnn's created just for this event.
Come and join us. April 12, 7:30 p.m. at Lee Ann's at
415 East Church Street, Suite 13 (Map) in Downtown Huntsville.
Yuri's Night is an international celebration held on
April 12 every year to commemorate the first human in space, Yuri Gagarin on April 12, 1961,
and the first Space Shuttle launch on April 12, 1981. Whether in
someone's living room, a swinging nightclub or a world-class science
museum, Yuri's Night events all have one thing in common - people who
are excited about space exploration and who want to join together to
celebrate it.
Event donations will be accepted for
HATS-STEDTRAIN,
which provides science and technology education & training seed grants to northern Alabama and southern Tennessee area K-12 schools and organizations.
ERC Incorporated will match the donations collected that evening.
The event is hosted by:
Huntsville AL L5 Society (HAL5),
Huntsville Alive, and
Lee Ann's.
